Angel Edwards Santos
Founder, Executive Director & Principal Investigator
Angel Edwards Santos serves as Executive Director and Principal Investigator at the Mindforge Research Institute. His research focuses on correlations between space weather phenomena and terrestrial human systems, with current work examining how heliophysics-derived indices relate to population-level health outcomes, financial market dynamics, and infrastructure performance.
He leads the development of the Planetary Dynamics Index (PDI), a composite index synthesizing solar, geomagnetic, and cosmic ray data into a unified measure of space weather state. His NASA-submitted research under the Living With a Star program investigates correlations between PDI component indices and mental health prevalence at the population level.
Angel is the author of Perfect Recursion, which encodes the theoretical frameworks developed through TMRI's research. His background spans predictive analytics, interdisciplinary systems modeling, and mission-driven research design.
